About This Camp

Skills, Fun, and Sportsmanship

The Spring into Baseball Camp is a fantastic opportunity for young players to develop their skills in a fun, supportive environment, whether they're brand new to the game or already love playing.

Over three action-packed days, experienced coaches teach essential baseball skills including hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running. Mornings focus on skills training, while afternoons give players the chance to put everything they've learned into practice in an indoor game situation.

Camp highlights include professional coaching for all skill levels, fun and interactive drills focused on the fundamentals, team-building games and activities that build confidence, and a strong emphasis on sportsmanship, respect, and fair play throughout.

Spring into Baseball Camp

Central City Baseball Club is proud to present a three-day spring camp run by Coach Dan Tan, Head Coach of New Zealand's national team, the Diamondblacks, and hosted by The Diamond Lab.

Whether they’re new to the game or already love playing, our camp offers a fantastic opportunity for young players to develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment. 

Over the course of three action-packed days, experienced coaches will teach essential baseball skills such as hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running. The camp is designed to keep the kids active, engaged, and having a blast while learning valuable techniques and sportsmanship.

The mornings will focus on skills training, while the afternoons will give kids the chance to put everything they’ve learned into practice in a game situation.

Camp Details 

Location: Central City Baseball Club, 15 May Road, Mt Roskill, Auckland
We have an alternative wet weather venue in Mt Albert

Dates and Times
Tuesday 6 October to Thursday 8 October, 2026 – 9:00am to 3:00pm.


Age
Players will be grouped into age groups of 8-10 and 11-13.
Please contact us  if your player falls outside this age range but you still feel they would benefit from the camp.


What happens after I make a booking?
Upon receipt of your booking, we will send you an order or booking confirmation. If you have paid by credit card, your booking is automatically confirmed. If you have opted to pay by bank deposit, you will still need to pay the full amount into our bank account in order to have your booking fully confirmed. Details of our bank account are as follows:
