2026/2027 Season Registration
Registrations are open for the 2026/27 season. Returning members can use their existing GameDay passport; new members start by setting one up. If you do not plan to play you can register as a supporter or volunteer using the Non-Player Registration Form. If you plan to register as a coach, umpire, or other volunteer working with children you will also be required to complete a police vetting form prior to the start of trainings.

Create a GameDay passport if you're new to the system. GameDay is Baseball New Zealand's registration system.

If you're registering on behalf of a youth player, check their Little League age and decide if they'll play a single division or multiple divisions. The discounted fee for a second division is $75. This applies to both youth and senior divisions.

Registration Info
- By completing this form, the registered individual/s become a member of Baseball NZ, their baseball club, and regional association, entitled to all associated member benefits.
- All players, coaches, umpires and scorekeepers must complete a 2026-2027 registration form before participating in any grade of baseball.
- This data allows clubs, regional associations and Baseball NZ to administer and manage the game. Registration is required for all participants before taking the diamond.

Fees
With the introduction of the GameDay registration system, Baseball New Zealand (BNZ) has made their national body levy a standalone item, paid directly to them at registration. The fees below are what goes to the club — ABA competition fees, coaching, equipment, maintenance, prizegiving, and more. Questions? Email president@ccbaseball.co.nz.
All registrations (including supporters!) completed and fully paid before Labour Weekend 2026 include a limited edition Central City T-Shirt.

Player ages are per the Little League age chart — see chart.
If playing multiple divisions, your fees are your standard division plus $75.
Players are supplied with protective equipment, bats, and a playing shirt (must be returned at season end).
Players require suitable shoes/sneakers, white baseball pants, royal blue socks & belt, glove, and a club hat. Club hats are available at a reduced price during registration.

Everything you need to know before you register.
When will the season begin?
The season begins on the weekend of 31 October and 1 November. T-Ball begins on November 13.
When will trainings start and on what day?
Training days and times are TBA, the club will contact registered players as soon as team schedules are finalised. T-Ball starts on 13 November.
Will I get a uniform?
Players will receive a playing top but will need to purchase white playing pants, royal blue belt, socks and cap. The playing top must be returned at the end of the season, unless you wish to purchase it from the club.
Where can I purchase playing pants, belt and socks?
The Fieldhouse and Dugout stock player clothing and equipment. Playing caps can be purchased through Central City or as part of the registration process.
Do I need my own playing equipment?
Central City has a limited stock of equipment such as gloves and bats for new players to try and use. Helmets are included in club team gear. Most players buy their own glove.
Will I have to travel for games?
Yes, typically you will travel on alternating weeks - away games are usually held on the North Shore, West Auckland, Glendowie and Pakuranga, with the possibility of travelling to Hamilton on rare occasions.
Does the competition break for the summer holidays?
Yes, the last games before Christmas are 19 and 20 December and the first games back are 23 and 24 January. T-Ball's last session before Christmas is 11 December, resuming on 29 January.
When does the season end?
The regular season ends on different dates for different grades:
T-Ball - 26 February
16U, 19U - 27 February
10U, 12U, 13U, 14U - 6 March
Divs - 7 March
Prems/Reserves - 14 March
Are there end of season finals?
Yes, these are the events scheduled for after the regular season. Qualification for Finals will depend on performance during the season.
